I know the question sounds stupid but, my husband and I just found out that we are having a baby in January. I have medical insurance, which does cover maternal care, with the exception of copay, and deductibles, all that good stuff. Although we have been trying for out lil miracle, it has been so long, that it surprised us when the test came out positive. My husband had some employment struggles and he is in the process of finding full-time employment. Which means for us that we are going to have a lot of medical bills that will be difficult to pay. My original question is can I get medical coupons if I am not making enough to support everything? Even though I have insurance?

I know that some doctor’s will give you coupons for prescriptions, but I don’t know of any that give medical coupons. They only thing that I can think of is the medical card and I am not sure if you can even get that based on you already having insurance. My husband and I just started paying a little bit each month towards the deductible when we found out I was pregnant. Or you can work out a payment plan with the doctors and the hospitals. Most of them are willing to work with you as long as you prove that you are serious about keeping up with the payments.

You’ll get the insurance through a local agent that can work with you to decide what coverage you need. Start with your car and home agent; if they can’t help they can probably refer you to someone who can.

How much it will cost will depend upon the type of business, the type of coverage and how much coverage you need. There is no way to give you even a ballpark figure closer than it should be a range of anywhere between $ 1000 and $ 250,000 per year.

Cheap? It’s called PAY for your own health care ,and don’t go see ANY doctor unless you have an INJURY or have need for an antibiotic! If you are injured and can’t treat yourself, go to a minor emergency clinic and pay CASH.

If you have a LIFE THREATENING injury or situation, THEN and only THEN, go to an emergency room.

All else is a WASTE of your time and money and only drives the whole evil system up our as99s!

Insurance is a government created SCAM! Medical care was only expensive and unaffordable when the government got involved.

There are those among us in the medical field who are trying to bring back the house call by doctors…and it would be entirely affordable by nearly ALL except the poorest among us. The poor who couldn’t afford it would be able to rely on their LOCAL community organizations and the doctors who treat the truly poor (not those on generational welfare) for free.

Keep government OUT of your life! Act independent and responsible! Use your ability to CHOOSE, or else you will loose it.

Where do car insurance companies get your driving record in CA?

Question by True2it: Where do car insurance companies get your driving record in CA?
I hit a guys bumper while driving a company car a couple of years ago and I thought he filed a claim but the company took care of it and I never heard about it again. I’m getting car insurance and I pulled my driving record from the DMV and all I have is a seatbelt violation but no accidents. Is there another database somewhere that insurance companies will check or is it just your DMV record? Maybe this all got settled without insurance intervention and I dont’ want to pay higher fees if its not necessary. Am I in the clear?

It’s the DMV they will check. If you were not cited a couple of years ago, then it would not be on your DMV record. You should be fine as long as you were not cited.

No, it is not a good idea. Between 90% and 100% of those who enter this field fail at it and have to leave within one year. Between 0% and 10% stay for at least one year, and it is not clear how many of those actually make money during that year and how many stay in the field without making money. However, “risky” implies a substantial amount of uncertainty. Since failure is virtually certain, it is not really risky, in the same way that beheading yourself does not involve an element of risk, because the outcome is already known.

Do you guys have Murcury in FL? I switched it from state farm. We have 2 cars, 1 trailer, 1 motorcycle and 2 jet ski, and their rates are the lowest for us…

I’m in the process of buying a foreclosure home (Saratoga,CA, can’t transfer the insurance since it has already lapsed) that has a detached unpermitted cottage (2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room total of 900 sq ft), the main home also has a unpermitted converted garage that is used as a in law quarter (separate entrance and full bathroom), it also has a unpermitted sun room too. I really love the home and tried looking for home insurance but it looks like no one will insure me. Is there anyway I can get insured for this property without having to lie about these unpermitted additions to the insurance company? Any advice would be appreciated and any suggestions which insurance company would insure me for a reasonable price. Thank you in advance.

first did you know that the the property had unpermitted additions when YOU STARTED THE PROSESS OF buying it
IF NOT YOU NEED TO SEE A LAWYER.
if you are buying a property with problems never pay anything for the unpermitted part. Many time you can even bargin down the value of the property. because of problems.
also check with the building department as to what it will take to bring to property in to legal status. in some areas it many be easy as paying the building fees. and in others you may have to tear down unpermitted buildings.
PS GET EVERY THING FROM THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT IN WRITING.

If the bank did not disclose the defect when they put it up for foreclosure sale. i hope you got title insurance.
if that is the case see a lawyer

If you are more specific, you can get a better deal. You should research patiently, and get quotes from different insurers -take your time. I had to do a lot of research and estimates because my old car broke, so I ended up leasing a new Honda, and insurance in NJ is ridiculously expensive. I strongly recommend you the website savingdrivers.com because it offers free and accurate quotes by e-mail; it is different from others because it is affiliated with just 4 excellent companies: Geico, Allstate, Century 21, e-surance; so after you fill 1 easy form, it will process all your estimates directly to the insurers and e-mail them to you (there will be no extra agents or unwanted stranger phone calls).
It’s also worth to try more companies independently like State Farm, or Progressive. Hope this will help you.

If you are a full time student under 24 why cant you be on your parents insurance? If you have no health problems, your college has a student health center. Otherwise, you can go to a community or public health clinic and pay according to your income.
