Can anyone give me a round about idea of the yearly cost for a bond/general liability policy for a small cleaning business with only 1 employee in NY? Does $ 1-2 thousand sound about right?

it is a lot cheaper than that depends on the industry that your business is in but general liability is close to 2 or 3 hundred a year. i work for a company that deals with small business owners with general liability everyday.

I am looking for sources of *REALLY* cheap life insurance. I have to have life insurance for the next six years (declining each year), while I pay off a structured legal settlement.

try select quote or one of those type of websites, otherwise just go into any insurance agency in your town and talk to them about what you need. Probably you need to have coverage for the amount of the settlement….and it won’t be that expensive…the insurance agent can help you figure out what you ahve to have…and I’d guess that it isnt’ going to cost you more than $ 100-$ 200 a year

Ok I live on Connecticut and the cheapest insurance for me is 200$ and that’s progressive. I’m 20 years old so I know insurance is going to be high for me regardless. But are there any other small insurance companies who offer the same service just cheaper???? I feel like my insurance is 200$ because of company name and I dont feel like spending so much because of that. PLEASE HELP!!! I’m buying a honda civic 95 dx auto 4dr

If you are a full time student under 24 why cant you be on your parents insurance? If you have no health problems, your college has a student health center. Otherwise, you can go to a community or public health clinic and pay according to your income.

Just with living in Brooklyn and not knowing any other information such as your car and driving history, I would doubt you can find insurance that cheap. Urban environments always have higher rates, and NYC is brutal when it comes to cost of insurance.

I just moved to Massachusetts from Rhode Island and recently purchased a new car. I need cheap insurance for my car because I am young and don’t make a lot of money. Has anyone reading had a good experience with a Massachusetts Auto Insurance Agency? I really would prefer to do this all online instead of on the phone. Websites are welcome! Thanks!

You should research patiently, and get quotes from different insurers -take your time. A used car, and a clean driving record will definitively help you have lower rates. I had to do a lot of research and estimates because my old car broke, so I ended up leasing a new Honda, and insurance in NJ is ridiculously expensive. I strongly recommend you the website savingdrivers.com because it offers free and accurate quotes by e-mail; it is different from others because it is affiliated with just 4 excellent companies: Geico, Allstate, Century 21, e-surance; so after you fill 1 easy form, it will process all your estimates directly to the insurers and e-mail them to you (there will be no extra agents or unwanted stranger phone calls).
It’s also worth to try more companies independently like State Farm, or Progressive. Hope this will help you.
