Can my home insurance raise their price for owning a bully breed if it’s a service animal?

Question by : Can my home insurance raise their price for owning a bully breed if it’s a service animal?
I am getting a pit bull as a service dog; she will be official. My question is this: in the state of Colorado, can the insurance company raise the price of our home insurance for having a ‘bully breed’, if she is a service dog? Or is that an infringement upon my rights as a disabled person?

No. Service animals don’t qualify for that through national laws.

Is Motorcycle insurance the same price as car insurance or is it cheaper?

Question by stagn4life89: Is Motorcycle insurance the same price as car insurance or is it cheaper?
I had a coupld of friends that have motorcycles and some that have cars. They don’t pay for their own insurance but i wanted to know if by any chance if motorcycle insurance is cheaper then auto insurance. I know auto insurance these days are sky high. But since a motorcycle is a lot smaller, shouldn’t insurance for it be cheaper for it?

What is the price range for small business insurance packages?

Question by Sheepish486: What is the price range for small business insurance packages?
I have a question for my personal finance class that asks:
Search the internet and name your sources for a small business insurance package. Identify basic areas of risk that they cover. How much would such a package cost?
I’ve found the basic areas of risk covered, however i can’t find price ranges anywhere and all the offices are closed when i call, except for one that said they can’t do it over the phone…

Well, they can’t do it over the phone because there are way, way too many variables.

A safe range to use, is $ 500 to $ 150,000. Yep, 95% of small business insurance packages will fall in that range.

It depends on what they do, what they need covered, where they are located, and of course, the rating basis.

Sorry, I don’t think this is much help.
